Marino - Founder & Director, Guitar, Bass, and Vocals

 

N.A. Marino was born, raised, and spent most of his early years in the lands adjacent to the Hudson River. Growing up in Jersey, taking every opportunity to hike in the Catskill mountains of New York, and occasionally catching the bus into Gotham city to dance all night. Marino developed a keen interest in folk music and Jewish mysticism. He has studied and taught classes on Hebrew scripture, Talmud, philosophy, spirituality, identity, mysticism, and practice in the cities and mountains of Israel and the USA. During the last years of his teens and his early twenties Marino spent a lot of focus and energy leading the Jewish Camp/Kosher Kitchen at National Rainbow Gatherings. In his later twenties Marino shifted his focus to building a homestead and practicing permaculture on his lands in Selma, Oregon. In recent years Marino shifted his main focus towards cultivating community gatherings, hosting shabbat, and playing lots and lots of music.

​Sheera - Assistant Director, Lead Administrator, Vocals, and Ukulele

 

Sheera Cipilinski, originally from Winnipeg, Canada has had an active Jewishly infused life from childhood, nurtured by Winnipeg's culturally rich Jewish Community. She grew up in a big Jewish family attending Jewish day school and spending summers discovering herself and connection to nature at Jewish summer camps until giving it up to travel the world as a wwoofer after university. She has been inspired by working with the earth and is a seasoned organic gardener and natural builder with roots of learning based on Kibbutz Lotan's Center for Creative Ecology in southern Israel continuing with the Mudgirls, Natural Building Collective in the southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia. Sheera lives with her two beautiful boys in a handbuilt natural home on their off grid permaculture homestead in Coquille, Oregon.

AviCado - Assistant Director, Absolute Sweetheart, Lead Drummer, Vocals.

 

Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Avi Greenberg has spent time studying History, Philosophy, Psychology, Music, and Torah- From Jerusalem, to Jew York City, UC Santa Cruz, Southern Oregon, and many places in between. Avi currently spends much of his time tending to community connections and caretaking land in Williams, Oregon. He can often be found at a shabbat table, dance floor, or shvitz-room, pontificating on subjects or shaking his booty to the beat.
